San Dieguito had an open campus policy and students could come and go as they pleased. No hall passes required. I like these campus lifestyle photos and I wish I had taken more documentary images in high school.

I have saved most of the negatives and slides from over 45 years of photography starting with my seventh grade photo class where I got hooked. I recently emptied out my storage unit and came across boxes and boxes of old black & white negatives. Most of the photos are what I call record shots and my hope is that someone will see themselves in these images and that will spark a memory from when we were all a little younger. The following image posts will be random in time and place but each image was a building block on my journey as a photographer, mostly learning from my mistakes.
